Established in 1975 and reborn in 2022, the Iona Swim Club is one of Queensland's most exciting new swim houses. In just a few short months, the club has become home to Australian and Queensland junior representative swimmers, numerous National Age Champions and a suite of State and Metropolitan representative swimmers.
Led by Head Coach Zane King, the Iona Swim Club welcomes male and female swimmers of all abilities, with squads offered at National, State, Metropolitan and Junior levels.
Iona Swim Club is proudly associated with Iona College, providing swimmers wtih access to state of the art facilities including the Provence Centre gymnasium and functional training centre, a 50m heated Olympic pool and dryland training equipment on pool deck.
Iona College is committed to the construction of a world class Aquatic Centre by 2028, which will see two 50m Olympic pools ready for the club's journey towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
